The Office of Student Affairs and Alumni aims to provide students with a condusive environment for learning and acts as a one stop agency for services related to health, accomodation, financial aid, students’ general welfare and more.

Datuk Prof. Dr. Mohd Ismail bin Abd Aziz, the Deputy Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs and Alumni is entrusted by the  Ministry of Education to promote student activities through various clubs and societies. Student activities include leadership development programmes, entrepreneurship, study tours, organising seminars, workshops, forums, debates, sports and community services.

Falsafah Pendidikan Negara merupakan asas kepada pendidikan seimbang untuk membangunkan aspirasi pelajar. Sistem pendidikan daripada peringkat prasekolah hingga pendidikan tinggi mempunyai visi yang sama dari segi keberhasilan dan kepentingannya kepada setiap pelajar.

Kementerian memberi penekanan
untuk mengimbangi antara ilmu dan akhlak.
Aspirasi pelajar dalam PPPM mempunyai
enam atribut: etika dan kerohanian, kemahiran memimpin, identiti nasional, kemahiran bahasa, kemahiran berfikir, dan pengetahuan.
